The Club arranged a special event on Sunday, 10th July to commemorate Veterans' Day. |

| It invited it's own members who were veterans
of the two world wars and extended the invitation to members
of the local British Legion. |
| The Club was specially decked out for the
event and the veterans were entitled to free drinks from 12am
to 3pm. A special buffet meal was laid on and suitable music
was played in the background. This event was enjoyed by all that
were present, including the Club's President and Chairman. |
